Dr Eadaoin Townley graduated from University College Galway in 1999 and completed her GP Training in the Western GP training scheme in 2004. Following her graduation, she joined her father Dr David Townley, and established the current practice in Claremorris. She has a special interest in occupational health and obtained a Licentiate to the faculty of Occupational Health (LFOM) in 2009 and is a member of the Faculty of Occupational Health of Ireland. She is passionate about women’s health and is a contraceptive tutor and a tutor in long active reversible contraception (LARC) insertion and removal. She is a GP trainer with the Western Training Scheme since 2010. Her other special interests include Paediatrics and Mental Health. She sits on the Clinical Governance Committee of Mindspace Mayo since 2014.
